Re: lexophile

Can't imagine what took me so long to twig to this, but the phrases here have nothing to do with lexophile. Re: kibosh

Checked both sites and found them working. The first one has a running discussion on pronunciation. For my part, I've only heard the stress on the second syllable, except in a few cases of alternate spelling where the word is spelled kabosh and pronounced KAY-bosh. IT'S working now but i have only ...

Oh, I do like a 'fur piece', so Western, like it 'camup a frog strangl'r.'

'Nother, is another but doesn't mean an other,

I like reading books with a few of these but sometimes it gets a bit much and the flow is lost.

Re: Termagant

Funny how there are so many colorful and ugly terms for women. Somehow it doesn't quite seem cricket? The ones for men are just as ugly but are generally considered to be impolite to use for everyday ocassions. M. Re: Chocolate

I don't know from nauseating or nauseated but Hershey's seems greasy to me as if it's 80% lard, I like to savor my choco, allowing it to melt slowly as I eat a bar and Hersheys has the wrong texture for me. Maybe im just hard to please.
