I haven't gotten around very much, but in my travels across the southeast US, the only way I have ever heard sauna pronounced was "SAW-nuh."

Addition and Subtraction of "R"

Here in the New Orleans area the letter R is a confusing one. Many of the older NO people will "put erl in mah caw after Ah warsh it, as soon as Ahm off the terlet."
