Shrive

Postby Eileen Opiolka » Thu Feb 02, 2017 4:57 pm

This reminded me of the nursery rhyme which begins

He that would thrive
Must rise at five;
He that hath thriven
May lie till seven.

Scots have few problems in rhyming thriven and seven.
I'm just thankful to have thriven.

Not that it doesn't stand alone, but this post probably refers to the previous day's Good Word, Shrive. I'm on a crusade to reduce the number of posts that have never had a reply.
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.
