"trained me", as if lunacy were an Olympic event.

Hey, if one is going to be a lunatic, may as well be a highly trained, world-class lunatic.

As for phylums, since the Cambrian explosion, I have been a chordata (which may explain why I suffered from a chordoma). What I was before that, is anyone's guess. 8)

Chordata
noun: comprises true vertebrates and animals having a notochord
Hmmm...notochord...
noto-
a combining form meaning “the back,” used in the formation of compound words
plus
chord
noun: a combination of three or more notes that blend harmoniously when sounded together
conclusion:
This one's guess is that Perry was in a band (albeit not the front man) in his mysterious "before". And from the look of those shades, it was jazz, man.

Am I right? Ha. Do you want your deerstalker back? I fear that it does not serve me as well as my vulture headdress..

As for me I'm just a big fish in a tiny pond. Just one small step for chimps.
