Fancy some advice on hay?

Hay is dried grass (and pasture flowers) used to feed domestic animals at places or times where there is not enough (fresh) grass or when fresh grass by itself is too rich in some qualities for easy digestion by the animal. It is normally produced at the end of the flush of the season after allowing excess pasture paddocks to grow until just before the grasses flower. The pasture is mowed and allowed to dry in the sun for two or three days. Drying can be hastened by "tedding" with a machine. ...

Welcome aboard, Bella! As you've just seen, some of us have a warped sense of humor; others are just plain warped. ;-) Just sit back, relax, and enjoy yourself. Feel free to ask questions or post answers and opinions. We really are a friendly bunch.

Another welcome

Bella,

Let me add my welcome. Ask any question, join in the discussion. So long as it is civil and clean, the discussion often rambles away from words then back again. We are flexible so long as everyone is enjoying themselves.

We are always on the lookout for interesting words for our So, What's the Good Word series. If you know of any--and there are quite a few interesting words used down South--pass them on.

I certainly am glad of the Doctor's comment.
It wanders away and comes back again.
Just like live conversation.

I also like the first poster's comment:
'redneck ain't where you live, but what you are".
Too bad they did not return: looks like a fun person.
