I'm sure some of you humorists have heard of Georgia's Bo Whaley. I am saddened to say that he has passed away this last Friday. He lived In Dublin, Ga and had many wonderful friends like the late great Louis Grizzard, columinist and writer. And Ludlow Portch, humorist and writer out of Atlanta.. Bo wrote some greats books such as "The Official Redneck Handbook" along with several other books about the south. Back when I was in the process of moving to Georgia, I got my hands on one of his books at a Cracker Barrel in Mississippi while on my way here. At a time when I thought my world was comming to an end, his writings lifted me up and made me smile. His humor was a life saver and has made a huge impact on me. Our small town has lost a big citizen. He will never be forgotten by us. :(

I'm not familiar with the author's name but I've seen the book. Funny stuff! I do remember Louis Grizzard, though, and enjoy his writings.
