Limbic

Postby fmyers » Fri Aug 21, 2020 11:44 am

In her New York Times column today (online) Michelle Goldberg has this sentence: "Shaggy, pretentious and endlessly cynical, Bannon presented himself as a man with a limbic connection to Trump’s base." I have always regarded "limbic" as a medical term. I think her use of it merits Word of the Day treatment.

Admitted for treatment here.
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.
