Abject/Abjection

Postby Slava » Mon Jun 14, 2021 6:34 am

I decided on this one because of what I consider an error in a piece on Slate.com. The author wrote of "object horrors", not abject, which is what I would expect in that phrase. I doubted myself, though, so I looked it up and found that it's even more complicated than I thought, so I figured I'd toss it your way and see what you make of it.

Any thoughts?

Maybe you could gain an abject lesson from this usage?
