Boorish, deliberately rude. The internet seems increasingly full of churlish commenters who want nothing more than attention.

Great word, especially as I'm reading a series of mystery novels set in 16th century London. Hope no one thinks I'm being churlish, but the parent word has been to the Dr.'s office. Churl is here.
