I wish to suggest suggestion as a suggestion to place in the Suggestion Box.
I never had any idea that it was originally "a prompting to evil". Which helps explain why suggestive is suggestive.

Interesting etymology . . . . But not what my dic’s have: sub + gerĕre (to carry - digest, ingest, etc.).
