Grandinous

Having to do with hail. ''Heavy grandinous precipitation can damage structures.''
This is a fun one. I'd sure like to find out whence it cometh.
I haven't seen all that much grandinous weather. I guess I should consider myself lucky, grandinous precipitation can be pretty hard on cars.
