Astringent

Postby William Hupy » Wed Mar 09, 2016 11:10 pm

From Latin. Meaning to draw tight. In medicine it is a substance that contracts body tissue. I heard it used on a cooking show, however. Apparently an herb or ingredient that causes the lips to pucker?

Taken up and treated here.
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.
