Parallax
Is this merely another way to say binocular vision? Interesting evolution of this word from Greek.

I don't think so. Binocular vision is what corrects for parallax, from what I understand. When binocular vision is out of whack, that would create double vision, as the parallax between the eye positions generates two slightly different views.Is this merely another way to say binocular vision?
Any scientists out there? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
