à la mode

Postby Slava » Wed Jan 31, 2018 2:34 pm

An easy one, from French, but it lets me squeeze in the quality of being à la mode: alamodality.

Plus, I never knew it also meant meat and vegetables stewed in red wine.
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.

Hmmm, beef stew with ice cream. I think I'll pass, unless I get the ice cream on the side. :D
