Concupiscent

Postby Slava » Sun Feb 18, 2018 4:03 pm

In today's lusty times, perhaps this is a good one to use more often?

Plus, I only just learned that I have always pronounced it incorrectly. The stress is not on the "i", but on the "u."

I wonder if one of our better wags can come up with something playing on that, I v You.
Life is like playing chess with chessmen who each have thoughts and feelings and motives of their own.

I also have heard the accent on the pis rather than the cu, so many times that I checked http://www.alphadictionary.com/goodword ... ncupiscent and found that I have it right there.
