Rhythm or Rhythmn?

Somewhere back in the deep recesses of my childhood, this word was spelled with the "n". However, with the exception of one other person who posed the question to Yahoo Answers, I can't find any comment on this spelling on the web.

Anyone else out there heard of it, and better yet, know why?

I'd go for this being an intrusive n, just like the one in dilemma, which some people insist is spelled dilemna. It doesn't belong and never has.
