Yes, I got vest as my first GW in centuries. May this recovery coincide with a rapid one of your own.

I received my second word of the day, Vatican, this morning.

I appreciate all you are going through, Doc, and wish you
the very best, may things go better for you as receiving Agora
seem to be for us.

So sorry to hear of your difficulties, personal, and relieved to hear of the difficulties, public, as I was fearing I'd been dropped and could not find my way back.

Hope this proves to be a fix for you on both accounts.

Oh, hallelujah! Vest was the first GW I've received in what seems like aeons and I'm delighted to be reconnected with my fellow verbophiles of this site. Very sorry about the heart attacks, Dr G, and hope that you are on the road to a swift and complete recovery.
Happy 2017 to all.

p.s. I, too, like Damoge, feared some terrible banishment from which there was no return. That or that some harm had befallen the doc which, indeed, turns out to have been the case. Keep us posted, doc, we missed you.

My email hasn't resumed, but I've got the app and check it every day or so. You too could get said app or just google the site and bookmark it.

Since my heart attack 12 years ago, I've become very good friends with my cardiologist - plus a couple of stints. Hang in there Doc, the docs can now do a lot...

I too have finally received several daily GWs, starting with vest. Hurray! I had given up hope. Sorry to hear about the heart attacks. Glad to finally be reconnected.

I'm very pleased to be back on the receiving end of your work, Doc, but am not receiving posting notices. Is that something that can be rectified at my end? It still is checked. I know because I checked.

Thanks for any help...

Jurisdiction, today's word arrived. Now three days in a row.
However notification that a thread I responded to is still
not coming. As for example there are seven replies following
mine before this one. And no email that someone responded
occurred as it used to. Is work being done on that facit too?

P.S. When I read Doc's note at the beginning of this, I assumed he meant "stint" to mean a short stay or period of time in hospital. Stent is the thingy put into the body to keep a vein or artery open. Is that the word you had in mind and Spellcheck misdirected you and Perry?

I am sure that Doc and I both were referring to that tiny spring likething they insert into an artery to keep it open.

Well, I received a couple of GWs (as noted on 1/10) but it seems to have stopped once more. I haven't received anything since 1/13 or 1/14. Have they been going out? Is there something wrong with my account?

I've missed a couple of days receiving the Good Word of Day,
so it appears all the kinks are not yet worked out.
And still not getting the notifications of activity on a thread
where I have posted.

I am. I praise God for restoring your health, Dr. Goodword. The Agora is a valuable forum and the members are all friends, whether or not we have met. I hope we can continue for a long time. The vicissitudes of ageing affect us all. We bear them as we can. I am pushing eighty and am not the physical man I was. Thank the Lord that my mental acuity is maintained.
Blessings on you Dr. Goodword and upon all the Agora group.
Philip Hudson
