- growing half moon (lat. crescere)
- street ending in a semi circle
- croissant pastry (see Austrian history!)

We haven't seen crescendo, either. I rather thought we had.

The adjective is crescentic. Anyone care to come up with an example of how to use it? For extra challenge, how's about subcrescentic?

"My breakfast pastry this morning was rather subcrescentic?"

This should have been posted under "GW Suggestions" above. I suppose the difference should be made clear. I don't know if Andrew remembers how to make that change or not. I seldom read this section. Maybe I should just delete it.
