More varied postings needed

Postby Philip Hudson » Mon Dec 31, 2012 12:42 am

We seem to be majoring on Good Word discussions recently. I would like to see more postings to the other Alpha Agora discussion venues.
It is dark at night, but the Sun will come up and then we can see.

I've posted several to the res diversae issue and a couple to grammar. Why don't you explore in the archives of those columns and resurrect with a comment any you find we might get involved in?

Well, post away. If others agree, and are interested in what you have to say, they will respond.

If you want more postings in other places, get them started. It's up to you.

We've tried to respond--the idioms games and individual pages of limericks. We've also added to the Punny Pages and several others. Repairs have been made on all the game pages that we know were broken.

Zest or zesty might in itself become a goodword.

As I write, there are 227 unanswered posts on the Agora. Are you absolutely sure there is nothing worth dealing with there? Also, as I said above, if you want to liven things up, go for it. Don't complain, just do it.

It occurs to me that this is a forum dedicated to words, etymology, and the like. A few of us, including me, seem to be devoted to punology. Personally, I come here to engage primarily over the word of the day. Been here seven or eight years, and still enjoy it and the people who interact.
