I just discovered a series of videos about the pronunciation of ancient languages on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/NativLang. They are fascinating, about interesting aspects of ancient languages about which we know little and intriguing aspects of modern ones.

These aren't limited to language history, by the way. There have been a few added since this post went up that are quite interesting in other ways. I liked the one on telling time in different cultures.

There is also a series of shorts on how writing came to be.
