Every week an unknown donor deposited $1000 cash in an envelope in the Sunday collection. The preacher wanted to learn who the mysterious benefactor was so he could thank them and make sure they really could afford such anonymous largesse. He kept watching and watching until he saw one particular elderly lady putting an envelope in the collection each week. He finally caught up with her after the service one Sunday and asked her if she was the one making the large donation each week. "Yes," she said. When asked how she could afford it she replied that her son sent her $10,000 every week without fail. "He must be a very rich and generous man to be able to afford that. What does he do for a living?" The lady proudly replied, "He's a veterinarian in Nevada. He told me he has two cat houses, one in Las Vegas and one in Reno."
