As more and more homosexuals are able to get married, we'll be seeing lots of variations, I imagine. I recently saw a headline about a male widow. I wonder how that one will play out.

He also missed the infamous POSLQ, often pronounced posslecue, from a census abbreviation meaning Persons of the Opposite Sex Living Together.
He also missed the invented word "helpmeet," which comes from two words in King James, "help meet." At the time "help" could also mean "helper" so modern translations my be more likely to render the words as "a helper suitable."

Blessed is the person who has actually found a helpmeet. I can't imagine helpmeets being anything but of the opposite sex. Otherwise they are not meet. We name the ends of a water hose and many other manufactured items by it's sex. One end of a water hose is female the other male. Two fittings are not meet unless one fittingly goes into the other. And that's where I take my stand, come Hell or high water.
