A Meeting of Minds

Postby Dr. Goodword » Fri Jul 18, 2008 12:00 am

Those of you who know or remember Paul Ogden (I'm not sure what his nickname here is) might like to read my current blog: http://www.alphadictionary.com/blog/?p=223. The Agora gets a passing mention.

Well, if Paul has moved to Israel, and I have come back to the States, does that constitute a fair trade? :?

The Agoraphile has been there as long as I've known him, both on this board and The Site That Shall Not Be Named. We were supposed to link up in Baltimore but his schedule didn't permit it. Ah, well, maybe next time ...

A Triple Play Would have been Nice

Postby Dr. Goodword » Fri Jul 18, 2008 11:00 pm

Yes, Paul and I talked about the three of us getting together. I think that would have been coup worth remembering. Too bad. Next time.

Yes, Perry, I would call the switch fair free trade.

Reading some of these old posts sure gets me wondering
about the "site-that-shall-not be name". Probably
YD/WOTD> Makes me very curious.

And what happened, like the evil Voldemort, that no
one will talk about it. Seeing people here that were
there, makes me wonder if they too are not somehow
"guilty" of some "infraction".

They all failed the test on the subjunctive mood and were exiled from the site.

It's a good thing I was not there at the time.
Should we email Vikki and ask her what happened?
Perhaps Doug would know. No one on this site is
even attempting to remind us to mind our own
business: but since they post these things it is our
business in away.

I'm not particularly concerned. We'll be OK here. And lots of the members are smart, so we can learn something new!

Just keep buttering the bread.
Something happened somewhere, and there is enough
blame to go around.
