Fentanyl

Is it just in my area, or do most people pronounce this as Fetanol? (Accent on the e)

I think I've heard it pronounced [fen-tê-nêl] in Central Pennsylvania, too. However, British and American dictionaries all agree it should be [fen-tê-nil].
