I had paroxysms of pleasure over some shrimp scampi a couple of weeks ago. Yum.

It's funny how a word can go from "onset of illness" to
paroxysm of pleasure from eating scampi. I had a
similar paroxysm of pleasure yesterday with a positively
philly steak sandwich at a new restaurant with a friend
I had not seen in months. Paroxysm - good word for
such a pleasing experience.
