Companion -ship, company

A companion is one with whom you share bread, a "mess mate." From Latin com, with, and pan, bread. The word company must be related, though it fairly quickly expanded to mean a group of people and later a group of folk associated in a business. Also a military group. Cinnamon rolls anyone

I'm pretty much always up for a cinnamon roll. Warm, with icing. Pecans or walnuts are good, too. The problem being, though, that they keep company with me for too long, leading to large waist problems.
