At this point in our lives, need any of us apologize for using words that are accurate? I for one feel no such need.

Slidden sounds like an onomatopoetic choice.
While it's longer, it would never occur to me to use meaning 1 of this word instead of circumambulate.

"Russian men'she "less, fewer",..." I don't know if the "she" is pronounced as the English word or if it is foreshortened. If the latter, it would increase the seeming similarity (though I doubt this is the case) to the word "mensch". The sounds may be similar...
