PL, you're right.

The term avatar is also used on THIS site referring to the same thing...it's used on most any of the discussion forum sites that allow a person to post, well, an avatar.

I'm glad you're not inured to them...that wouldn't be a good sign.

In my former profession dealing with some of the people I had to, I would tell my wife that I was shocked, but not surprised.

Not inured here, either. Somewhat calloused, but not inured.
