MTC, we are pretty much singing off the same page here. Writings have contained erotica from the beginning of writing. The authors we have discussed are among the perpetrators. A ripping good story doesn't have to be G rated. We must also remember that the Bible, which I love and respect as the Word of God, also reports some seamy goings on. After all it is about real life. The Song of Solomon, of course, is not seamy. It is a smoking love poem and should be interpreted no other way.
It is dark at night, but the Sun will come up and then we can see.
