Why not, I see nothing wrong with saying Southern fried chicken is nonpariel.
But somehow I can't see using nonpareil in the same sentence with Yankees...

To be absolutely honest, geography never entered my mind with this word.Why not, I see nothing wrong with saying Southern fried chicken is nonpariel.
