Gail that was priceless!

The first thing i do with a new computer is disable Mr. Paperclip. It just annoys me that I have to go through the process.
That was good indeed Gail, though I can't get the 2nd one to open. First one reminds of this li'l error message.

Paperclipguy is annoying but poisonally the first first thing I do with a new 'puter is pull off the guldang Number Lock and Insert keys. Grrrrr.

More basically methinks MS has to reveal who the hell is writing when they refer to "My" computer, "my" this, "my" that, and why you get "welcomed" to a machine of which you thought you just assumed ownership at a thousand bucks a pop. A grand buys a lot of contempt.

Thanks Perry, so how would Microsoft state it? obsoleting my mom?

Mark, please add my sympathies. Full set of parents going through chemo and advanced Parkinson's here. I can relate.

I'm afraid Mr Peanut -uh, Mr Paperclip would be referring to her as "My" mom. They just take over everything.

Oh no Sluggo, how incredably sad.
We've actually had three deaths this year two were lingering, It just killed me to watch loved ones waste away. I am so sorry for your enduring grief.

What is an insert key? I don't think I have ever used it, I want my mumb lock on allo time too.

Insert, like Numbers, is the normal mode but if you hit it your typing starts eating its own young.

None of us get any younger (although we all try to slow the clock); especially not our parents.

Isn't reading the manual akin to cheating?

nope, it IS cheating, like asking for directions, if the way doesn't present itself deep in the ol' chromosomes then I'll just stay "lost" until it does. No amount of gas is too much to use driving round and round the block.

Tim, Garzo's, of course. I check in from time to time, when no one's looking, but I missed this, sorry.
