Back to work, anders ! But before you go, thanks for the link - the site does indeed look to be most useful and I have therefore bookmarked it ! I myself have found Erik Peterson's On-line Chinese Tools quite handy - among other uses I turn to it when writing Chinese and/or Japanese texts, as I don't have access to IME's here and I find it takes me much less time to retrieve graphs using 拼音 than forcing my way through those available under «Symbols» in Word™....

M Henri Day:
Regards.
it's a very comic story. I didn't find the word 沦文 (thesis, paper) in my Linguo off-line computer dictionary (a very handy but too laconic one). I found separate characters:沦 - lùn - 'perish' and 文 - wén - 'writing'. 'Perishing writing' was nonsense, and I decided that it was the name of the invited man. But in the invitation letter the name is not mentioned even once! Isn't it mysterious?Splendid ! Please tell us about it - in general terms, of course, to protect identities....
Regards.

Somehow, Yuri, I think you'll stand a better chance of success if, insted of looking for a non-existent «沦文», you check the entry for «论文». The former is merely a typo.......
