Some of you guys have been awarded the title of Grand Panjandrum, so I looked it up in the online dictionary. Probably the word has already been discussed, but here's the info:
panjandrum
mock name for a pompous personage, 1755, invented by Samuel Foote (1720-1777) to test the memory of actor Charles Macklin (1697-1797), who said he could repeat anything after hearing it once, in a long passage full of nonsense.
I didn't look up "grand" as I associate it primarily with pianos that have big legs and flip their lids!

In the 5th century, the early Christian theologian Pseudo-Dionysius suggested nine different ranks of angels. In ascending order these were: Angels, Archangels, Principalities, Powers, Virtues, Dominions, Thrones, Cherubim, and Seraphim. And the suggestion of Arch Panjandrum at 2000 as suggested there? No final decisions were made there.
I recall that you reached 10,000 posts on the old site, so I suppose that would make you a Seraph.

Yes, and St. Paul mentions the "choirs" of angels
here and there in his writings. Good thought. Yes,
10,000 posts: I had forgotten. I must be all I did
day and night. But I'm in no way a Seraph. Of course
now I have four of these "sites" going and contribute
to them all in some form or another. I am more
devilish about it, however. Panjandrum: what a word.
