Re: Venella(vanilla) nightmere(nightmare)
If I remember correctly, Ella says vanella (Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong, "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off", 1956(?))Does anyone else say venella instead of vanilla.... or nightmere instead of nightmare?

Venella and nightmere
Guilty as charged. Just had never thought about it.
