Cynical nay-saying, or one who cynically nay-says. Seeing only the bad, with little to no hope for a good outcome. Gloomy Gus. :cry: :cry:

Etymological cousins, one might say, rather than siblings, of ‘pejorative’ and - go know - ‘pejorate’.

Pejorative can be visited here. That's what made me think to suggest pessimism. That and it being how I view much of the world these days.
