Do not consign your old taglines to the electronic ash-heap of the bit bucket, but, rather, as the Communists did for Lenin in his tomb, post them here for future generations to admire, or deride, as the case may be.

I'm not sure if I've used this as a tagline, but at work I sometimes tell people the truth:
"I got married on a Saturday and went to work for the Government nine days later, and there have been days when I've felt like I've been serving concurrent life and 30-year sentences, with time on for bad behavior."
Then there's our old friend PW, who misses his ex-wives; they keep moving out of the way . . .

Time for a change, so, time to entomb this one:

Time for a more humorous tagline, so time to bequeath this one to the ages:
"Always preach the Gospel. If necessary, use words."

As Tom Rush would say, "I got a hankerin' for moseyin'." That's his translation of Joni Mitchell's "I've Got the Urge for Going" into Wyoming-speak.
Vegitarians are just a passin' fad.
Just tip your hat and wish 'em "¡Vaya con carne!"
Then you go on out and make 'em hoppin' mad!

Time for another change:
The above book is from an alternate history series, in which Rome survives longer that it did in our world, and in which Magic (thaumaturgy) plays a large part."There is no more difficult path than that of an honorable man."

Deus est scientiarum dominus
and everything else, as well.

Time to relinquish this one as well:
"If you are not feeling well, if you have not slept, chocolate will revive you. But you have no chocolate! I think of that again and again! My dear, how will you ever manage?"
--Marquise de Sevigne, February 11, 1677

Well, it's been a while since we had an entry here. Time to retire another set of bons mots.
