MTC, I have a dedicated group of adult students who are mostly citizens or permanent residents. I have been working with some of them for about ten years. We meet in my home. They have become some of my wife’s and my best friends. I also have a group of University of Texas at Dallas students and most of them are already rarin’ to be citizens of the USA. I also teach ESL classes at church. Our classes are free and open to any person interested in ESL. We have over 200 students and may be the oldest free ESL organization in the world. We are forty-two years old. I have been teaching for about fifteen years.
Is anybody helping Luke get back on line?

It is dark at night, but the Sun will come up and then we can see.
Re: SCALAWAG
Have to agree with PHudson about the air quality of Pasadena, TX. I was born and raised in Houston, TX, which Pasadena is basically a suburb of. My dad lived in Pasadena for many years before moving to Sealy, TX. The high school I went to 100 years ago was in the Pasadena Independent School District. In all fairness, Pasadena's air quality is probably no worse than Houston's, in general. Here in the Deep South the barbeque is GREAT! Eating cabrito is unheard of, though. Too bad! It's a very good meat. I tried to buy a young goat from a friend of mine who was selling them. He changed his mind when I told him I intended on grilling it. Oh, well.

Philip: thanks for your concern.
I have no idea how, but it all came back yesterday.
I had 30 some email notifications of postings and at
least two weeks worth of Docs word of the day.
I 'd like to think it was magic, but I don't believe that
to be the case. Again thanks.

Hey, welcome back Luke! Looking forward to seeing your posts again.
It took a lot of doing and many people, and all of a sudden
30 posts were on the inbox and 2-3 weeks' worth of
Doc's word of the day. Just turned on the computer and there
they were . Amazing. Thanks for the greeting. Looking
forward to being here again.
