It seems that every post below yours follows the
format, pushing the content way to the right.
Is is possible to make your avatar smaller?
Not that I care too much, just making a suggestion as
mine was too small, and sap made it bigger.

Glad to see it happened. Thanks.

Note, however, the posts above yours date from 2008.
Many here do go way back, way back.
Lots just died in the '05 - '06 time period.

Obviously Saparris has not found you here yet.

Ah, me thinks I see a "green man" in an avatar!
Could I be right??? Love the history, if so.

My first degringolade occurred shortly after my birth, and it's been one degringolade after another ever since.

And it's such a happy sounding word!

Happy word for such a condition in yourself, to which
I can vouch, and it comes from Kudzu juleps drunk
in caroliner.

I find many four leafs, have little difficulty doing so.
BUT I shall keep in mind the advice: don't press my luck.
Cute. Keep'em comin'.

I especially liked the word Terroirism.
I thought it was misspelled at first too.
The good Doctor just finds all the neat words.
I still love this one, even though he posted it before I did.

Petrichor

the word rorulent, on this thread (abounding with dew)
reminded me of this word: petrichor, a real favorite of
mine.
"the scent of rain on the earth after a dryspell."

Like the "ile" of the French island in the Seine. I like
eyot better. I'd like to have my own little eyot
in some very warm clime, with private beach, ahhhhh!

I wish I could become inured to snow. I've lived in the
Plains all my life and I still detest the stuff, especially
this year: 45 inches of the stuff in my yard at last
measuring.

WOW O WOW!
That is magnificent. Largest free-standing in the world.
Quite impressive, and should be for such a tragedy.
Oh, our wars are something else, in history.
