Semiosis v. Semiotics
I just came across the first word, and felt it was odd. It does exist, but my understanding is that it is more about signs in biology, rather than the discussion of signs in language. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter? Do you agree with my take on this, or am I off my rocker? Thank you, Slava
