Sarcopenia
Sarcopenia is the degenerative loss of skeletal muscle and it combines two Greek roots: sarx (σάρξ) "flesh" and penia (πενία) "poverty". The first root appears also in sarcophagus!

Also sarcasm – figuratively 'tearing/stripping the flesh' (with a 'cutting' remark).The first root appears also in sarcophagus!
