Maybe it's a sefl-portriat and they popped a superflous P.
Stop! Murder us not, tonsured rumpots! Knife no one, fink!

Now this could have been used for Jim Hightower's book, "There's Nothing in the Middle of the Road but Yellow Stripes and Dead Armadillos".I'll just post the link for this one, also a classic, showing your tax dollars at work...

I think it was a little overkill and yellow of them to put a yellow stripe on an animal that is already dead. What a waste of perfectly good roadkill for the Roadkill Cafe in Texas. An establishment I wish not to patronize.I'll just post the link for this one, also a classic, showing your tax dollars at work...

Huny - Who was supperised to not see roadkill in my edition of the Anerican Heritage dictionary!

oh Huny, you have opened a huge can o' worms here, Please allow me to introduce :*DO NOT TRY THESE AT HOME. "Roadkill Recipes" have been created for twisted humorous purposes only. Consumption of rotting, dead animals of any kind is not recommended and could result in serious illness or death -- unless you're a vulture.
but the Pennsylvania Possum Pot Pie, does look yummy.
Remember those Michelin tires really tenderize those tough old racoons and make them much more barbeque-ready.

**years ago I used to frequent a mountain tavern that had a real cookbook on the bar for patrons to check out while they awaited more conventional fare, and beer too of course.

Bailey, I have often pondered your tag line myself. Just couldn't put it in perspective as well as you have. And a big thanks for the roadkill link. My stomach thanks you, too. I think I now know why I have never been much of a meat eater. But my dogs barked happily and drooled as I read the recipies out loud to them. My husband turned a funny shade of blue and said he needed some fresh air and remarked as he was leaving the room, "Where does he come up with all this stuff?" I told him this was just the tip of the iceberg with you. If I had known that was all it took to get rid of him, I would have asked you for them a long time ago!

This sign is should be in the other thread re double negatives. It seems that dont't may be a contraction for don't not. So some macabre person, or persons, unkknown is exhorting us to drink and drive. Or do I misconstrue?
